Matthew Solon-Lee Weimer (B. 1996, Arlington, Tx) is a painter focused on homosocial and physical intimacy—while exploring sexuality as a Demisexual through the vessels of his creation and the Queer Homoerotic world they exist in. His work is to celebrate and reclaim intimacy with the love for one’s body—playing with memory, energy, and ambiguity. Balancing sexual tension and explicit expression through the process he termed “Queerforming.”
He received his MFA in Studio Art from Southern Methodist University in 2024. In 2021 he received his BFA in Painting with Honors from the University of Texas at Arlington.
